Brad Jakobsen is an experienced territory manager in the beverage alcohol industry and a long-time resident of Bowmanville, where he has lived for nearly 30 years. Beyond his professional career, he is deeply engaged in his community—as a referee for minor and junior hockey, a part-time plow truck driver, a licensed pilot, and a dedicated volunteer. Most importantly, he is a devoted husband, father, and proud grandfather.
Brad is committed to building a better Durham. Known for his straightforward approach and results-driven mindset, he believes the region has waited too long for critical provincial services, including the long-overdue GO Train expansion, a new hospital, affordable housing, updated schools, and highway improvements. As a first-time Liberal candidate, Brad is determined to be a strong advocate for the community, ensuring that the voices of residents are heard and that real, measurable improvements are delivered to the place he proudly calls home.
